Christmas With Dignity
Main Street Mission is partnering again with the South Rowan YMCA again to hold Christmas with Dignity on Saturday, December 12, 2015.
CWD is a Christmas store for those that are facing hard economical challenges and allows them to
purchase gifts at prices they can afford, BUT also so much more!
CWD allows children to see their parents as providers and because of this family is strengthened. CWD also allows parents to have the opportunity to choose gifts themselves for their family members and
restores a sense of dignity for the family. This approach to Christmas giving is not a hand out, but a hand up. We know the greatest gift you can give a child is not the toy under the tree, but it IS a strong family and parents that feel dignified about the way they are providing for their family.
For more info. or to volunteer to be a part of the preparations or assist with this special day please

December 12th from 9am-3pm at the South Rowan YMCA.
So many wonderful people like YOU are partnering to help make this happen. Below is listed the volunteer
positions we need filled. The need is great, but if it's anything like last year God sent hands from everywhere to make it happen. I would love to see groups join us (youth groups, small groups, men and women circles, school groups, work groups, 4-h groups, Crosby Scholars, friends and families) offer to serve together. Most of thevolunteer positions are only for a one hour time slot so please spread the word.
You may email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or to volunteer for any of the following.
See below and please share with your area of influence!
Much thanks! Hope
Our theme this year is " A season of Joy". I can't think of a better way to share the joy of Christmas than being a part of this event!
